Dress slacks: Flat Front or Pleated?
A question for my millions of blog readers. Do you prefer flat front or pleated dress slacks? Please post a comment. Thanks.

No question, flat. Haven't worn pleated pants since the early 90's.
It depends on the situation. With Austin being the casual metro, it's not surprising to see flat as a favorite. Pleated is a for a more formal/dressy situation, IMHO.
I think most women prefer flat front. My informal survey has shown this. I still maintain that pleats are acceptable fashion. I had never considered them more formal though...
Roger is indeed stuck in the 80's. His vote may need to be nullified.
Sorry guys pleated pants are not at all cool! A quick walk though the Castro will show you this. Although Doojie is right, it's hard to find a tux w/o pleats. What do you care, it's summer time and that means shorts in Austin!
Cuffs are fine on flat fronts that aren't tight chick pants (a la slim fitting crap "designer" suits that will be relegated to 2nd hand shops next season). If the pants are painted on and you weigh a buck ten soaking wet, then okay, no cuffs.
